EXCLUSIVE LEAK: Samsung Galaxy S25 Aluminium Dummy Phone Revealed
Samsung’s Galaxy S series has long been a benchmark for premium smartphones, and the Galaxy S25, the smallest device in the lineup, looks set to maintain this legacy. Aiming to deliver cutting-edge technology while balancing affordability with high-end performance, the Galaxy S25 is positioned to compete with the best in the market.
Thanks to our collaboration with David from @xleaks7, we are excited to share exclusive images and video of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 in the form of an aluminium dummy phone.
Design
Based on the leaked aluminium dummy unit, Samsung seems to be continuing its minimalist approach with the Galaxy S25. The rear design features three circular cutouts for the camera setup, following a similar aesthetic to previous Galaxy models. The absence of a camera bump gives the back a sleek, flat look. On the front, the Galaxy S25 has a centered punch-hole for the front camera, surrounded by slim, symetrical bezels. The top edge of the dummy also shows a small cutout for the earpiece speaker, aligning with Samsung’s subtle design language. This design showcases a clean and refined exterior, staying true to Samsung’s signature style.
Dimensions
The leaked dummy unit’s measurements are 146.94 x 70.46 x 7.25 mm, making the Galaxy S25 slightly smaller and thinner than its predecessor, the S24. This subtle reduction in size indicates a focus on making the device more compact and comfortable for one-handed use, without compromising on display quality or performance. Comparing the S25 with the recently leaked S25 Ultra, which measures 162.82 x 77.65 x 8.25 mm, highlights just how much smaller the standard S25 is in the lineup. The S25 is not only significantly more compact but also about 1 mm thinner than the Ultra model, catering to users who prefer a sleeker, more pocket-friendly device.
This fine-tuning in size suggests that Samsung is focused on improving ergonomics across its flagship series, making the standard S25 ideal for those who prioritize comfort and portability. Meanwhile, the S25 Ultra, with its larger dimensions, will likely continue to cater to users seeking the ultimate powerhouse with expansive screen real estate.
Although, there are rumors suggesting that the S26 series in 2026 may feature only two devices, rather than the usual three.
Release
The Galaxy S25, along with the S25 Plus and S25 Ultra, is expected to launch in early 2025. Samsung is likely to continue its tradition of releasing multiple variants in its flagship lineup all together, offering a range of options for different users.
