What VeePN Does Collect and Why

To run a reliable and successful VPN service, we still need some of our users' data. Here's the list of data pieces we do collect with brief explanations of the reasons.   Once you create or modify your account, we save your email address when you're signing up on a phone. Or your email and name during the sign-up on desktop devices. We collect this info to administer your VeePN subscription.

  VeePN's website data

  We record the date and time of site visits, approximate geolocation, duration of the session, and pages viewed - for analytics. We want to know what you do and don't like and how we can improve.

  Contact details

  If you request assistance via email or other communication, we will retain your message, as well as the contact information provided to get back to you. It's 100% up to you whether to share it with us or not.

  Service logs

  We collect the following service data: session time, amount of data in MB transferred during one session, and the location of the VPN server you choose.We need this data to run the service efficiently. Your IP address is never saved.

  Troubleshooting records

  We collect crash reports, speed test results, and connection failure details to minimize these problems and make your experience better. We don't tie this data to users. Remember that you can always switch off data collection in the app.

  Payment history

  When purchasing the subscription, you will be redirected to the website of the third-party payment system of your choice. We then will use a generic “Order Number” to pinpoint your User Account and subscription expiration date.
